Emma Flintrop, MSW, LSW

It is a difficult task to find a therapist that will meet you where you are at and be comfortable sharing who you really are. That is why I strive to create an open and accepting environment that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual client.

My name is Emma Flintrop (She/Her) a licensed social worker in the state of Virginia. I have received my Masters of Social Work at Rutgers University. I have past experience with working with anxiety, depression, self harming, suicidal ideation, life transitions, communication, grief, and finding ones true self.

I work to create a safe place for those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and who are neurodivergent can truly be themselves. I utilize CBT, strengths perspective, family systems, and nurture heart to celebrate accomplishments as well as creating the most unique and best version of each client.

I am here to give support to individuals eight years old and up on a variety of challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, social cues, self esteem/self confidence, and the day to day challenges of life. I aim to give each individual treatment that is unique to them in a creative and fun way.
