Michelle Reeves, MSW
Embarking on a profound mission to support and uplift, I am a dedicated and empathetic counselor specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. I strive to weave a tapestry of care and compassion throughout my professional journey. With a passion for nurturing emotional well-being, I am committed to creating a safe space where clients can explore, express, and flourish.
I believe in building trust with each client, fostering a secure foundation for the therapeutic journey. Through active listening, validation, and empathy, I create an environment where clients of all ages feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, I work collaboratively with clients to ensure holistic and sustainable progress.
I have experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. I believe that a strengths-based approach, coupled with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, can help individuals overcome obstacles and meet their goals. I also seek to uphold the principles of trauma-informed care in my work with clients by promoting a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing. I completed my master’s degree in clinical social work at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Michelle is currently accepting new clients and sees ages 8+.
