Natalie Desseyn,
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, MSN,
FNP-C. PMHNP-BC
Your mental health is nothing to be ashamed of and far too often we feel that stigma and do not seek help. Whether you are in a crisis or just feel that life is getting tough, I am here to help you work through what you are experiencing and to help you feel more like yourself. I am very passionate about healing and helping my clients to find a sustainable support system. No single medication or approach to healing will be fitting for every client, that is why I am eager to work with my clients to find what combination works best for them so they can begin to thrive and work toward the best version of themselves. I enjoy working with children (8+), adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, post-partum depression and anxiety, and much more.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. I then moved to Nashville, TN where I earned the title of Registered Nurse. I worked in various settings including Neonatal ICU, Burn ICU and Oncology. I decided to further my education and attend Tennessee State University for my Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where I graduated with Honors. I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 9 years and felt a pull after the Pandemic to return to school for Psychiatry and Mental Health. I attended Liberty University and graduated with Honors as a double Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
